Anyone else like their mid-controls?

Is it me because I see alot of people converting to forward controls. Nothing wrong with that but I got to thinking about it too. I like having the highway pegs to stretch out after I go through the gears but I also like to bring them back in for a changeup and also when going through the corners.

Weighting the pegs is an important part of aggressive cornering.
That's pretty hard to do when those pegs are stuck out front.
Have you ever seen a race bike of any kind with forward controls?
I like mid controls. Most of the time that I see a bike with forward controls in town they don't stop at stop signs they kinda roll on through.I don't know about other states but in Pa you get nailed for that before loud pipes.

Sounds to me like the rider is at fault, not the controls.

I switched to forward controls when I added the Voyager trike conversion to my 1200L. I just put my first 100 miles on the bike today since the change, and I am very pleased. I'm 5'6" with a 30 inch inseam on one leg and a 15 inch on the other, ( prosthetic leg). I added a Sundowner seat as well, this combination along with the closer handlebars on the Low make a very comfortable ride, at least for me.
But I do remember doing crazy things on a Honda with mid's many years ago when I was young and dumb, they definitely help handling wise.
