Default shorter foot peg mounts?

Been doing some searching on the internet and haven't found the answer I'm looking for. Are there shorter foot peg mounts to bring the pegs in closer to the bike?

it'd feel a lot more comfortable for me if the peg was closer the the brake and shift pedals.

Short answer is yes. They even make angled foot pegs to allow more lean angle.

I have two answers. One is there are shorter and neater footpegs, metal with a rubber insert, which I have on my rider and highway pegs. They look better and don't stick out so far, #33134-07CAZ, FOOTPEG ASSEMBLY, RH, and #33135-07CAZ, FOOTPEG ASSEMBLY, LH, used on the XR1200 models.

Second answer is not so helpful. I spent ages staring at Sporties in our local dealer's showroom some while back and did identify shorter stock mounts which I reckoned would do the trick, but forgot which model they were on! So there is a solution out there, from stock parts.
