Default Stubby mid pegs

I want to keep my forwards but add mid pegs for an optional position. I'd like to keep them short and stubby though.

I saw in a post where someone had short pegs mounted in the mid position, but I can't find the post.

Does anyone know where to get short foot pegs?

The shift peg does not take the same adapter, if it has one.
Never seen where a foot peg male clevis that would fit a shift peg.
They are rear passenger pegs that are smaller than the divers peg but mounts the same.

I went out to my shop and check the spares I have and on the kury site and check all I could find.
They all have a single bolt attaching the peg. You do not use a adapter or can one be fitted by design.
The 8008 and 8007 are just foot peg male and female clevis'.
Unless they have something that I have not seen or something new I am not sure that would work.
I did not like the mid mounts as a secondary foot peg. They are in the way when I put my feet down.
just a thought

This is why I'm looking for the stubby ones. Someone here did it, I just don't remember how. The result was a peg about 1/2 or 3/4 the length of a standard peg.

Thanks. The 8008 is a good start. I'm not sure what thread size it is though. If it is 5/16" x 24, it would be perfect.

i believe its 5/16-18. shouldn't be too hard to get a new bolt.

also look at

Thank you. That's exactly the post I was looking for. It looks like I could do the same with the Kury 6008 part.
