Had I gone 6" I would have needed shorter rear shocks. I can flatfoot it still but another couple inches would take that away.

So the handling is still good in town around city street corners? I would think might be some getting used to right hand turns especially?

Any other concerns now after this was accomplished? I believe I read where you went back to stock rear shock height?

Thinking of some extension also, but concerned about low speed handling in turns.

If you do go to longer tubes you'll need to spend some time adapting to them. The tubes on my Wide Glide are +2" over Wide Glide (+4" Dyna) and even though I've always done slow speed parking lot practice I needed to spend time in empty parking lots adapting to the change in slow speed handling and riding more sedately in the curves adjusting to the changes in corner entry.

I don't regret going to longer fork tubes at all; just take some time getting adapted to the new handling characteristics and you'll be good to go
