I got out for a twenty minute ride today to go look at the lake. On the way back it rained just enough to wet the road and like a dumbass I took my front fender off earlier this week and forgot to put it back on. I looked like I did when I was a kid on the Mongoose, covered in muddy water spots.
I just put ISO grips on last weekend since the stealership in Allen had a 20% off sale on grips. This darn rain has not quite given me the chance to try them out yet. If it's at all dry in the morning tomorrow I'm heading out.
As it is the rain was crazy today. There was a bunch of rain around where I live, but I went about 10 miles out for some errands and not a drop out that way.
i rode for about 125 miles on saturday. had to wait until about 4:30 though. long day waiting. same deal today . i'm 35 miles north of dallas and we get decent breaks for an hour or two at a time. ride and clean, ride and clean.
Well it has been pouring at my house most of the morning. Yesterday the rain seemed to be mostly on the west side of DFW but it is on the East side today.
Spent most of the morning in the Garage watching the rain, drinking coffee and looking at my bike like it was a stripper.
I'm gonna ride in between rain showers tomorrow. My bike is filthy!
There was actually a break in the rain this afternoon up here, so I at least took a little bit of a ride. I'll have to see if there is enough of a break tomorrow to head out.
Yea, I actually got a out 100 miles in yesterday afternoon. Cruized up 78 to farmersville and around that area. It is raining like a mother at my house right now.
