can be used with tubes. i used it in my dynas spokes/tubes.

http://www.ride-on.com/motorcycle-formula-mot.html

"Works in Tubes and Tubeless Tires - Ride-On TPS will eliminate 85-95% of your flats in tubeless tires from objects up to 1/4" (1/8” for tube tires) that penetrate the contact area of your tire. Due to a tire’s inner curvature, Ride-On will not seal sidewall damage, or damage near the shoulder of the tire (the outside 1-1.5” of the tire tread). If a tire has a cut, impact break, bruise, bulge, snag, or sidewall damage, take the tire out of service and have it inspected by a professional tire care specialist."

Ride-On does an excellent balance job.

" Ride On " dose both-- seals and balance at the same time . remove the valve stem install a certain amount air tire back up
If you have a tire that's out of balance and starts to cup the tread you have less contact on the payment ( not good ) and once it starts to cup it won't straighten back out . TAKE CARE OF YOUR TIRES as a favor to yourself

yes, there are no weights on my dyna wheels. the roadster wheels will also not be getting weights. the first miles with ride on are weird. once it coats the tire/tube, it smooths out.

if it freaks you out, that's okay. nothing wrong with keeping it old school and scoring some weights.

Besides a vibration free "feel" IMO the only way to verify is to check the balance on a machine.

How's a low cost Harbor Freight tool for such a test?

Good luck.

I seriously doubt any wheel/tire can be in balance without wheel weights, unless a product like Dyna Beads or Ride on are used.

If it is the front tire, a quick way to check is to remove the brake calipers, and see if the tire moves from different locations. If it is the rear tire, it's too much trouble.

My recently installed new Avon front tyre has no wheel weights, it's also not the first new tyre that has needed none. You started this thread from the premise that you don't trust your dealer, well the proof of the pudding is in the ride, so try your bike and see if you can detect any imbalance. If you do go back to the dealer, if not head off to the horizon!
