Default Wheelweights

Just got new tires mounted at my dealer. I noticed i had no wheels weights. The serivce guy say they didn't need tem They were balanced. Im not a fan of my dealer they did me dirty on a warranty claim. How many of you have wheels with no weights. My bike also handled extremely different from before not in a bad way. Not sure if its beacuse of the night dragons tire profile or the new tubelss mags or both. Or no wheel weight. But it like a different bike. Had didnt ge to fast one them yet but a quick freeway run i had NO wheel wobble.

Mine had wheel weights when new. When the Harley dealer replaced them they put wheel weights on them as well.

It's possible the wheel didn't need weights. If there's no wobble and it handles well, ride on.

Rare to have perfect rims and perfect tires these days but if all feels good once you get use them then great. Im sure there are some great mechanics out there that would take the time to readjust the tires on the rim after each run on the tire balancer but that takes a lot of time and effort, maybe a race car tire guy might do that.

It is not really rare to have tires that balance out without weights. I have had them on bikes, cars, and trucks.

I have been driving since 1960 and have never had one balance without weights.

Was the wheel/tire placed on a dynamic balancer?
If the wheel/ tire are statically balanced does not prove it is dynamically balanced.
Smallest weight is 1/4 oz.
Have experienced many laced wheel/ tires with 1/4 oz weight from factory.
Most cast aluminum wheels in my inventory have stick on weights, have over twenty.
Sometimes locating a tire shop that specializes in just motor cycle tires is difficult to find in some geographic areas.
