Is it true that with straight pipes you lose some Horse Power because there is no back preasure ?

I think you loose power for most of the rev range except the very top end, good for drag racing but not so good for everyday riding, sounds good though!

i understand that drag pipes only help in the top end range. most of use are mid range riders. unless you wrap them they look pretty rough with time. like everything else, it depends on what you like and how you ride. just my .02

Sometimes loud exhaust will make you think your bike is quicker lol, I have the same feeling.

You hafta have some kinda deflector on the tail. Back pressure is important for midrange torque. I'm still trying to tweek my drags.
