i just installed the v&h short shots and am looking for a forward air cleaner system to put on and am new to the game this is my first bike just wondering if anyone had any input on a brand that would match them without spending the $500 on v&h air cleaner
I dont have any specific name brands but there are plenty out there. Just start searching and you will come across something. Congrats on the new pipes!
Check out DK Custom Products or Hammer Performance. Both have good quality air cleaners from 170-250 bucks. I just got a forward offset Sledge air cleaner and an external breather kit from Hammer Performance at just under 300 bucks after shipping. DK has some of the Outlaw air cleaners for 170 or so. There are many more out there but these two companies focus on performance, R and D and customer service. Can't beat them.

We have a pretty large selection of Performance Air Cleaner Systems. You can see them HERE.
They are reasonably priced, and have a Lifetime Warranty.
If you are looking for a Forward Facing Air Cleaner, the Outlaw 636v is what I run on my own Sporty...it is a top performer.
