I can't say that looks wrong. In fact, it's correct! Good job on the spring. How is the stand in the up position? Is it floppy? Nice and tight and doesn't wobble? I can't say that nib is bent enough to cause this issue. Two worn out bushings will.

So is the stand not locking into the #1 notch?
Because the #2 tab is bent to the rear?
Or am I reading the pic wrong?

No wobble when its up. Guess I will take it apart and check the bushings. They just put in a new harbor freight in town. I went and had a look at a bike lift they have one for $79. Now I got a good excuse to get one. It's tricky trying to hold that kickstand down if I am on a slope or gravel. I like both feet planted firmly when I park it.

Looks like your upper bushing needs a bit of attention!

It locks when I lean the weight of the bike on it. When I check it manually and swing it down I have to lift it about a half inch to lock. I know that you do not want it to lock when you swing it down for safety but it should stay in the down position without me holding it down. I just cant figure out why.

Hmmmm. Yours looks different than mine. Mine even looks different than the pick in the manual.

Yea brotha! Same. Not a dirt road I won't travel down. Just did my bushings. But mine was actually dangling and flopping in the breeze. There was nothing left of them. As a result, it was hard keeping over center. This problem seems odd.

I was figuring model year difference... Sorry I can't be more help.
But your post caused me to find an action item on mine, so thanks for that!
