My DK Customs Outlaw Seat
As for the dyeing, I don't know.... I'm just going to chop it up as, "the mistakes makes it more unique!"LMAO Hope the sealer helps with the finished look.
Either way it appears to be very well-made so, it's a keeper! Just need to get it on my bike.
[side note: Friday I'll be ordering the Flying Knuckle foot pegs to match the seat and holding off a bit for the AC. Adding some underglow LEDs when I do the pegs. I mostly ride at night so... ]
Just admiring the build quality of the seat...
The day the tools arrived
Traced the pattern (knuckles to wield to my sissy bar)...
Tooled...
Wrenches to make the design a little bigger. Couldn't find anything else to use at the moment.
Tacky dye job. Even got a drip on one of the wrenches.
I applaud your undertaking.
Learn along the way.
The wrenches are there for nothing really, except for making the design a little bigger. At this point I can't fix jack.
I seriously want to try a spring seat and saw this kit and wanted to give tooling a shot. Now that I have the tools, I'll probably make another cover a little later on.
"I don't consider myself a bad *** or anything but, maybe it'll make someone think twice before sitting on my bike."LOL
