I'm around the same fuel consumption as deadrubberboy and averaging 30 MPG riding in town. I do rip it quite a bit but not excessively. Maybe more autotuning is required to get better milage? Not sure but I know even stock I was averaging 35 MPG so not sure what's causing mine to consume more fuel than most here.

A good Stage I (and they are NOT all the same) will give you the same or a bit better MPG, IF you ride the same. A lot of times the extra power tempts one to ride more aggressively, and then there is a drop in mpg.
On my Sporty, which I ride pretty aggressively most of the time, gets around 40 mpg. The little bit that I ride a bit more sanely it will jump up to around 43-44 mpg.
When I had just the Power Vision, I was down around 32-35 mpg.
It had a ton of power with the Power Vision, but when I added the Target Tune, not only did I start getting significantly better MPG, my throttle response went WAY up...much snappier acceleration.
Top WOT dyno numbers did not change...it is all the riding between cruising and WOT that was greatly improved.

Thanks for the info Kevin. I too have a Power Vision - no target tune though. It's pricey, and after ready JauntyBiships write up today on adding the Target tune with the Patriot Defender (same pipe I have) requiring him to cut away some parts to make the new 02 sensors fit, I think it's off the table for me.
When I got my bike I was getting 45mpg doing a mix of highway and rural country roads. But then I discovered the moron who did the Stage 1 never put a tuner in, and the bike was running too lean. I installed a FuelMoto Micro EFI tuner, and now I average 40-42mpg.
