Default 08 Roadster - replacing rubber engine mounts

hey all. over the past year ive noticed my bikes gotten more and more shakey. i know thats normal, but I know it wasnt this bad when I picked it up. Since it is an 08 AND i havent adjusted the lower mounts since I got it, I figured it would be a good idea.
But - how do I do it? Looked at the service manual and it seems like I need to remove a lot of parts, and damn near pull the engine out to do so, which honestly, is why I havent done it as it seems logical.
Anyone got any tips or tricks to get those rubber mounts out without tearing down the whole bike?
