I've dropped my other bike 3 times in 25yr with no serious damage...first time I parked up on the side of the motorway to help someone else, and the slip stream of a passing truck blow it over (head in hands I tell yer!)....second time the side stand was off the bike and had It chocked up under a foot rest and It fell over....third time I forgot to put the side stand down,I held on to the handlebar as usual, then let go...back end of bike went through a fence, but bike came out un-scratched.....not used to the Harley yet, can't get my toe on the side stand without folding the footrest up.....then when It's on the side stand It jumps up as the suspension lightens up.....ffs!

That isn't the worst one, a few months back, we were talking in the parking lot after having a few beer, my buddy jumped on his CBR954, fire it up and ready to ride, he forgot to unlock the steering, guess what? You can imagine.....

The other day I tipped my Super Glide in the parking lot at work. I had to get out from under it then lift it up -- then I notice the odometer is helpfully saying "TIP" -- oh, that explains it.[:@]

Just what I need -- a bike that rubs it in.

I got one better...my buddies and I were sitting at a light after leavin the bar, carload of VERY good looking young ladies in tow, along with some other friends. Light goes green, the guy up frontthinks he's pullin a mighty fast take-off...guess what, he didn't quite get it outta neutral...

Funniest part is, he actually thought he was riding ALL THE WAY TO THE GROUND. (His facial expression didn't even change)

Needless to say, he didn't finish that ride home, lol...my little sister hopped out of her boyfriends car, stood it up,and rode it home. We still laugh at him, months and months later.

My blunder was the day I bought the bike it has 134 miles at the time.
Backed 1/2 way it into my garage and 1/2 way in the driveway not thinking that the little slope on the driveway would cause it to Ghost Ride. I got off the bike turned around to walk into the garage and heard the screeching of the kick stand scraping down the driveway, so I ran over to it to stop it(yea right). Grabbed the front brake like a moron and all that did was jerk the bike to the right, lock the front tire and fall over on my right leg pinning me and dragging me almost 1/2 way down the driveway, tore up my right ankle, knee and rashed the hell out of my whole right arm, plus I couldnt put a shoe on for a week. No biggy man...it could be worse.

Just think if you raced up to a "hot chick" that you wanted to spend a "little time" with, and in your excitement, when you got off the bike, you forgot to put down the kickstand........

or "gently" laid it on its side at the HD York plant, in front of about 20,000 other riders ........don't ask!
Ok theres no way you can mention this and not elaborate.
