Default Torque specs

I have a 2002 Sportster 883 and was wondering if anyone could give me the torque spec on this big bolt in the center pictured here? Thanks in advance!

There isn't one. That's your stem nut and you tighten it however much is needed to set the proper fallaway of the front end and neck bearings.

It's one thing to change oil, but you really should obtain a factory service manual when performing work of a nature that could affect your safety. Not trying to be 'that guy', but just some friendly advice

Make sure to get a proper Harley service manual for your model/year, the off brand manuals are crap compared to the Harley one.

If that stem nut is too loose. front end will wobble on deceleration. If too tight, you could damage the head bearings. Agree with the others, get the HD factory service manual, accept no substitutes.

You can get them at your local dealer, or from on-line dealers. Beware the ones you see advertised on Ebay as the prices are inflated, even for secondhand ones, and higher than you'll pay locally for a new one.
