Iron 883 Lower Rocker Covers (Clear or brushed?)
Question for a friend of mine who isn't on the forums. He has a 2015 Iron 883 and there appears to be some waterspots or oxidation on his lower rocker covers (not the black top rocker box covers but the piece below it that appears brushed)
Does anyone know if these have a clear coat on them? I was going to help him brush them with some scotch brite pads but I didn't want to screw them up if there is a clear coat on them. It's impossible to tell from looking at them.

there is a clear coat on them. but, try it with the polish first before resorting to aircraft paint stripper. polish is like 4 bucks.
