I just bought my first HD. It's a 1996 Sportster 883 XLH and I would like to get a windshield for it. Dennis Kirk and JP have not been very helpful. Memphis Shades told me they do not have one to fit. I learned from trial and error that many cataglog places tell you what they sell fits until you get and find out otherwise. Any body out there have a windshield on your Sporty?

I have the HD quick-detachable compact on my 2006 1200R; works well on the highway and cuts the draft considerably when it's colder.

Very easy installation/removal. It can be installed/removed in less than 60 seconds.

I find I use it a lot in the winter, but not in the summer.

Yep, Harley quick detach. Works great.

 

I have the HD Quick Release "Clear". Mine is a standard. I love it. Does cut the "breeze" and deflects things that fly up from the road at you.
