Speedo stops working

Speedo stops working
Wifes bike. 06 883L. Couple of months ago the speedo stopped working. Checked all connections and everything was good. Took the bike down the road and it started working again. No problems till today.
This morning the wife takes the bike to work and calls to tell me the speedo stopped working again. Any thoughts on what else to check? The bike hasnt been washed or ran in the rain lately. It also sits in the garage overnight so moisture souldnt be an issue.
Dealership has a 2 week backlog on repairs so if I can fix it myself I will.

You don't have the TwinTec ignition on it do you? I put it on mine and it stopped working one time. I messed with the dipswitches and it started working again. Hasn't happened since that one time.
