Wouldn't you know I just got to Hot Springs just as the HOG Rally was ending. Frikin bikes everywhere! What an awesome ride! The mountains are awesome. I did alot of riding while there and have the sunburn and the blisters on my butt to prove it! Well, 790 miles later... I decided Sportster seats are for 20 year olds! Guess I need a new one. Well my dad and stepmother live in Hot Springs Village. They have 7 lakes and 8 golf courses. I don't golf, so we just rode. The ride from Dallas was pretty good. I stopped every so often when I couldn't feel my *** anymore or needed gas. I'm guessing I averaged 45 to 50 mpg. The roads once you get there are fantastic! The ride back wasn't too bad either until I hit Dallas and rode through a downpour. Yeah. I knew I'd get wet sooner or later! The first pic is lousy. I was on the road and the pic was over exposed. The others came out great. My dad is 74 and he keeps on riding! Nice bike dad!
While up there my dad looked at me and said;"Your bike sounds like s---t son". We removed the baffles and he thought it sounded so awesome so we left it that way. I plan on getting some Big City Thunders soon! EOS.
Nice pics man! I am from just south of there and love that country. There is a Jeep ORV park - one of the best in the country there and we always ride there and camp. Now that I have the bike, I need get in a ride headed that way.
