Default Running Lean?

So I've had this sportster 48 for a little over a month and it's been running great, but when I started it up this morning, it sounded different than usual. The exhaust was a LOT louder than it normally is, and I've been noticing popping on deceleration. Pipes are stock, baffles still in, never messed with the EFI tuning, nothing has changed. I don't know what could've caused this, Or if it's going to even harm anything but my only guess at why it sounds like this is it's running leaner for some reason but I'm still new at this. Any ideas?

Do you have any codes? Is the check engine light on?
If you don't have any lean codes, it probably isn't running leaner than normal

I would check and make sure the exhaust is tight at the heads.
Torque spec is 96-120 INCH pounds (10.9 - 13.6 Nm)

Check the O2 sensors.
29-44 FOOT lbs (39.3 - 59.7 Nm)

Depending on the model year you may also have gaskets at the muffler inter connect tube, Check for exhaust leaks there.

Thanks for the input. I'll give them a check and see if I get any changes.

It's a 2016 and still has under 1000 miles. No lights coming up that shouldn't be there. What tool would you recommend using to check the torque?

A torque wrench- http://www.sears.com/tools-wrenches-...s/b-1214364374

You would need an O2 sensor socket, they have an opening for the wire.

If your bike is still under warrannty, two years unlimited miles, the dealer could check them at the 1000 mile service.
