I own a 2016 48 and I have Vance & Hines baffles I put in my stock pipes and a Chinese made K&N type air filter I bought on Amazon. Bike is running good but maybe not as good as it could. I remapped using my Dynojet PV. I'm using their configuration 2302 which is for new air cleaner and Rihnhart slip ons. Does anyone have a remap for V&H basic slip ons or do you know a better remap to use with my PV?
I went as far as I could go with basic autotune, but there was room for improvement and better tuning. So I took my '08 1200R to Drew at American Speed & Machine in Palmdale for a dyno tune, using my Powervision. He did a great job, it runs smoother and stronger throughout the rev range. His # is 818 445 0914.

Thanks for any input.
Have you autotuned?
I don't think it's reasonable to expect a good tune from just swapping in a different map. I find that whole approach to cause more problems than it solves.
Thanks onelocoman. I don't know what to do. In fact today, when I was riding my bike sounded and road as if I didn't map it at all. Weird stuff. I just want to remap and be done with it. Hopefully someone who reads this will have a solution. Thanks brother.
this might be jerkish but, you already been told what to do. auto tune it. canned maps are just that, canned maps.
you can email dynojet and ask them or a map that's close to what you have but, you'll still need to auto tune what they send you a bit. could take 1 run. could take 10.
I couldnt find a good base tune as dynojet did not have something for my specific exhaust and intake combo. I contacted them and they provided me with a good place to start. From there you can autotune and be fine. With autotune, exhaust and intake my bike made 75hp. The company is very receptive and will get back to you quickly.
Braino did ya check out that thread? I didn't like the tune I got from Dyojet. I got the tune I use from FuelMoto and ran atuotune and made some changes to AFR table myself. When ya autotune you only make changes to your VE tables. You might need some changes to your Spark Advance and AFR tables. With only an air filer change I doubt your VE tables are that off. I don't know why you would run another type of baffle on stock pipes. Load your original tune back and run about 3 autotunes. If you bought your PV from Fuel Moto call Jaime. But I really doubt you are gonna just find a canned tune to solve your problem.
Onelocoman, when you say go back to your original tune do you mean the stock one? The PV I have is the silver series J-1850 that came with my last Harley. My last good tune for my last Harley was a Fuelmoto as well. The guys at Dynojet are great but I won't be able to contact them til after Christmas.
