I am interested in buying non-repairable title bikes and swapping frames to get them back on the road.
Sportsters seem to be available for a pretty low price so I've decided to start here. Does anyone know the frame interchange info for sportsters?
I have found no good source of information online or through HD so far as to what may fit a certain year bike. I know that they used basically the same frame for certain models for a certain amount of time- but who out there knows exactly which frames will fit for each year? This is key for my operation.

You can compare part numbers for everything including frames on-line here. Other similar websites are available.
You're not the first to ask sweeping questions like this, which frankly will require a volunteer to write an encyclopedia. In the case of frames there will be some years for which the frame is identical, followed by years where it is similar but not quite identical. In summary you've asked an open question, for which there is no easy answer. If you ask us if this engine will fit that frame we can be more helpful!
Do you plan on selling these repaired bikes? If so, there's a strong chance that you'll make little, if any, money once you factor the labor and other time in. Just the time spent looking for viable parts can be a bear. Then there's the issue of possibly ending up with a 'salvage title' that could deter some buyers (not me tho).
