Default Roll Bag Tie Down Solution

Hoping that someone will stop me if they think I am going to kill myself with this idea. I am looking for a way to add a Biker's Friend ML Roll bag to my 2014 Sportster XL1200C. I have Leatherworks saddlebags with Easy brackets and a Saddleman Dominator Solo Seat with Pillion, but also a Motherwell Rack, so I have a few options. My thoughts are that I can attach bungees using the Easy Brackets connection hardware on one side and (Here is the kind of out there idea) attach the others to a homemade shock bolt tie down created by adding 1 inch to the bolt length and using 2 1/8 inch washes and a 3/4 inch spacer to keep everything appropriately tight (I have access to grade 8 or better stainless steel hardware). I can't think of a downside to this, but I am not an engineer. Just looking for some thoughts.

Ive bungied stuff to the front and back of my bike in ways that were not nearly as technical, and i dont have a luggage rack. if it feels loose or looks like it may contact something critical while riding or inhibit movement of bike components then dont do it. otherwise, bungie the snot outta that bad boy and ride on

Not as concerned about the load, pretty comfortable about being able to secure it in any event. I am more concerned over the suspension with the longer bolts and spacers, etc.

I found the perfect place to store my tool roll bag years ago. In the saddlebags. It's not something you really need every day, but there IF you need it. Out of sight - out of mind.
