Default water in frame

I have a 2005 sportster. When I wash it the frame gets water inside of it and I can't seem to get it all out. I am afraid it will rust the frame out. any ideas how to prevent this and has anyone else have this problem?

Are you using a pressure washer or just a garden hose? I suggest bucket washing to reduce the amount of water you are putting on the bike.

This is a problem on steel bicycle frames too (and much more serious as the tubing is very thin) so many people use this stuff...

I use a bucket to wash then rinse off with a hose. I have the same problem with my freewheeler and the water gets in the frame even when I ride in the rain.

Where is the water getting in and how do you know it is there?

I believe it is getting in from the little holes that are drilled in the frame by the factory to hold the wiring harness in place. They are the only places I could find. I found the holes by blowing air through the one drain hole on each side of the frame bottom. I know its there because after I wash the bike I blow it dry and then when I move it the water drips out
