Best chrome triple tree
Hi All,
Looking to swap my current polished triple tree on my 2012 72 to chrome. Due to the criticality of the parts, I'm interested in getting some feedback on anyone that has done an OEM replacement of their factory triple tree. I want to stick with OEM specs at this time. I'm not interesting in a raked triple tree or mid/wide glide conversion. I would prefer a kit but I haven't found much out there, other than an eBay special.
My OEM triple tree part numbers are:
Upper - 45966-04
Lower - 46127-04
Currently looking at V-Twin Manufacturing:
Upper - 24-0898 ($75)
Lower - 24-0897 ($97)
I can order new bearings/cups/seals from Harley for under $70, so I would plan on swapping it all out at once.
