I like them on some of the larger touring models, and on some of the older vintage models, but think they look like crap on just about everything else.

Disclaimer; Just my opinion, and opinions vary from person to person.

If ya like the vintage bobber look then they'll look good (look at all the cool bikes from Sucker Punch Sallys,Flyrite & such). And 6066er, those are covered shocks (not fake shocks)on that bike which are exactly what sporsters from 1957 and several following years had. I like WW myself and might try a set for a year which is about how long it will take for me to wear em out anyway.

They're not covers....

http://www.choppersurplus.com/np/sus...notshocks.html

...They're an alternative that gives the bike the classic look while still making it, basically, a rigid. And they're EXTREMELY popular on Sporty Bobbers these days. They make them in several different styles I've seen....the ones in the link are just an example.

I was wanting to put white walls on my bike too. My husband took a picture of my bike and opened it in paint. After playing around he managed to make "white walls". Not the best but it gave us a pretty good idea of what it would look like.

No, I think those are covers 6o66er. If you look at your linked item, the "Not Shocks" are barely wider than the bolt holes, which are exactly the same "Not Shocks" that you can get at Licks Cycle.com. The shocks/mounts on the other picture of the sporty with the whitewalls are as wide, or wider, than normal shocks with covers over'em.I seen the not shocks on a bike in person, and those are not the "Not Shocks".

IMO I don't think they would look right with the bike set up in it's current state, especially with the blue but if ya' bobbed her some the blue would look good. I forgot who's bikes these are,a couple from this site maybe but a couple pics I saved for my inspo.[8D]
Nice bikes who ever they are!
