I got the rush slash cut from a buddy for $40
beast dam $40 I ever spent.
Just looking to go with the 1.75 baffle currently 2.0 because they are too loud for me,but other Harley riders love the sound and suggest me to leave it as is.
I had to 2" and changed it to the 2.25"...sounded awesome. I just sold my bike and every time I started the bike, I can just see their faces like wow. I am always around bikes and the Rush has a low deep rumble which is louder than most even the 2-1s, except for perhaps the short shot which is just loud.
If I had a 48 I guess, and want to keep it as a solo bobber I would go for VandH grenades.
If you like the stock look...keep the stock slip-ons and modify them. You will get a classic Harley sound, have better performance than most any slip-on you can buy, and it is inexpensive.
I've got the 3" Cobras on my 1200C with 2" baffles. Good sound, but a little loud at times. However, the group I ride with say they aren't too loud when riding next to me. I recent;y swapped them out for Screamin' Eagle street legals and went back to the Cobras after 2 weeks. Just like the sound of them.
My opinion is, at least look into the Rush slip ons. To my ear V&H have a crack to them I don't particularly care for, the Rush have a low toned rumble to them, and settle to a low throb at speed. But, that's just my opinion.
Cobra's don't sound bad, just a little louder than I wanted to go from the videos I listened to.

To my ear... yes. Not alot but from the videos I listened to the Rush seemed to be slightly quieter. They are louder than stock I can assure you that though. Both have the low rumble to them the V&H lack IMO.
