Hi everyone First time poster i have a 2004 1200 custom with the big tank I'm trying to get some information on finding a Harley super reduced reach solo seat or reduced reach solo seat I have found out I can put an '07 seat on an 04 just not vice versus. Does anyone on here have or know someone who has one that I might be able to get a picture of and /or a part number off of it so I can try to locate one.
Try a local upholsterer or saddler, you'll probably find one who's done bikes before. They'll use your stock seat base and a combination of different firmness layers to get you a lower profile that won't hurt you and still match up to the tank. A good one will guarantee fitment and do one adjustment if needed.
I tried all the local ones here within a 200 mile radius with no luck. It has the stock gunfighter seat on it now and I bought a solo saddleman heels down seat that does not get my heels down and puts me back instead of forward I'd like to find a stock solo seat and then send it to Mean City cycles to have it customized to fit me
None of the local harley shops can help because all the seats for a 2004 are discontinued and can't help me with what might fit. I thought if I had a part number I'd find a used one and then send it to Mean City cycles. J and P didn't help much either
