Now that the slipons are on and the front fender is off and the N is coming along...will they give me a hard time on my 1000 mile service and any warranty issuses????? my first service is in July....should I worry????? Thanks!
There may be a few exceptions (such as explicit wording in the warranty) but the adding of parts generally will not void the warranty in full. It's only an issue if you have a warranty related repair AND they can prove that the added item SPECIFICALLY caused the failure/problem at hand. At that point they can deny paying the claim for that particular repair but even then I don't think you void the whole warranty.
It's a grey area and in most cases the owner will win over the repair facility. If you apply the reasonable man test you should be fine. There is a lot of warranty folklore going around but most of the time you are fine.
You should have NO problems at all. However, like bensonjv said, they may try and sell you the AC and download, but this time of year they are usually too busy to bother even with that...
I bought the boloney cuts...they sound huge....love 'em...people actual look to see....I was at a light last night and this guy on a custom shopper pulls up next to me and says....ncie bike dude....I nodded....not that I give a **** what anyboby thnks anymore...to old for that...no time either....but.....I take it that the bike at least gets noticed.....and the pipes.....you won't be dissappointed....
