Default Changing handlebars.

So I found some z bars I really like. What is the chances of having to extent the electric wires. Are they extremely long or no? I’m going from a 3inch rise to a 10inch rise

I added 1.5" riser extensions and Burly scrambler bars and had to replace my brake line. Stock front brake line is 40" and I found the 44" line was nearly perfect, maybe an inch longer than I needed. Electrical, throttle, and clutch were all fine.

+7 will definitely need extensions on controls, clutch, brake and "possibly" throttle. Call one of the bar/cable specialists and they'll get you a list of recommended parts (e.g. Burly, LA Choppers, Hill Country Customs, etc...).

Cool

The only certain way to get a good fit of everything is to make a start, get the bars where you want them, then make cable/wiring/hose adjustments or replacements as necessary. An alternative is to buy bars and extras from a brand who supplies everything to fit. If you know the brand of the bars you like, check to see if they offer advice on fitting - go to their website first.
