Electrical Help
If that's where the "dimple" is and it's cut, you probably should solder/shrink tube those wires. I'd only fix the ones that are cut. I had a similar issue on the right side, but just used a small butt splice.. It's worked for over 20 years now, although I always tell myself I should solder it someday.
I think I would maybe get a short piece of the same gauge wire, and possibly do two solder joints, instead of trying to stretch one wire to splice together. IDK, just my thoughts. Or, try a small shrink cover type butt splice, if it's only one wire like on mine. I actually used a regular red one, which has worked fine. It fit into the dimple as long as I peeled back the covering a bit to gain some space. Good luck!

It looks as if you have other damage, so take a look on Ebay to see if you can buy a replacement switch assembly with wiring. You can check which bikes and years are suitable using a parts website.

I had to change the stop switch in the rh control and in the process found out that the MoCo doesn't solder wires they use a special kind of spice crimp. They also stagger the splices.
On thin wire it has been found that soldering is not the best idea as the individual strands tend to break due to vibration.
