We have several 200 and 180 threads in here, just take a look around. Here's one you should read through. Bear in mind that most tyres wider than 150 will require a wider than stock rim to fit the rear and quite probably up front as well.
what are the biggest tires I can put on my 2005 883 low
would a 180 mm fit on the back and would a 140-70-19 fit on the front
Gerald, go look at your bike ... Do you think you can put a 40mm wider tire in your Narrowglide front-end (you have a 100 tire) ... even with removing the fender? ... No
You would need at least some Midglide Trees and a wider rim
On the Rear, your 1-1/8" belt will make it a little tougher (1" on 2007-later) ... of course you would also need a wider rim

Kevin ... he doesn't have a 48 (with Midglide forks and a 3" rim)
Yes, I should have found a better pic. The tire on the front of that 48 is also the same tire that will fit on the back of his 883. I should have mentioned that in my post....I will try to find a photo of it from the rear, posted the photo I did to show it is pretty gnarly big and will fit the rear he was asking about. It is a Coker.
The Rear? ... It must be an illusion of being wider because those 5.00 Cokers spec out as narrower than his stock 150 ... and then what do you do with the front
