Default Passenger peg removal

If YouTube has served me right, I believe to install passenger pegs on a 48, there are brackets and longer screws needed. (Correct me of this is wrong) Mine came with passenger pegs and I want them gone. Would this mean I need the original bracket and screws? If so, anyone not have passenger pegs that wants them and wants to trade out?

thanks!

Compare what you currently have on your bike with a parts website, which will show you the stock passenger peg set-up. To remove your pegs is dead easy, as each peg is held on with a single C-clip and a peg. If you have the stock brackets you can also remove them. That link should show you what you need to know and you shouldn't need to add anything in order to remove them!

What year is your bike?

For 2014 and up the rear master cylinder is on the same bracket as the right hand side foot peg. There is a bracket for the right hand side that is just for the master cylinder.

Also for 2014 and newer the left hand side you can just remove the bracket but you will need a shorter screw as there is a cover for a connector that needs to go back on.

The stock solo master cyl bracket is pretty cheap around $25, I bought one to eliminate the R.H.pass peg bracket on my 2016 Roadster. If you need the part # I can get it for ya. Doesn't say what year you are working on
