When i first dabbled in the idea of getting a bike I was tossed between getting one of the Dyna line ups, or a Roadking....the plan was since i was here in Korea id put money away into the military purchasing plan here. Then id take delivery of my new bike once i got home....
Well after seeing a few bikes out there an talking to a few riders I figured what better way to see South Korea than on a HD.....I bought my 07 1200 custom, mainly because there really wasnt any bigger bikes to get here....mostly the sportster line....so i figured heck I'll run it while im here get back to the US and trade it in for a bagger....
Im keeping it.....period....end of story.....ill still get my bagger....but it will be parked next to my Black Cherry 1200.....I am having more fun on that scooter.....we are in the middle of monsoon season and i am still riding every time that sun breaks out even if its just a min....The Koreans dont know what to make of it...lol....
This is a chance in a life time to tour another country on a piece of American Iron....I am damn glad I said screw it....give me a scooter now......I plan on putting together a photo album of every where i tour here in South Korea.....this country is actualy beautiful....I definately dont regret buying my scooter here......just had to share that with the sportster section here......
Congratulations! And enjoy! When I was stationed in Korea, vehicles were not authorized where we were (Camp Hovey / Camp Casey in Tongduchon, Camp Howse, and for three months, DMZ. It was real, it was fun, but it was not real fun!
