Spitting and Sputtering
So, I have been having an issue with my 2016 48 spittering and sputtering. It used to just be every so often when cruising around in second or third gear and low speeds, like 30-40 mph. It would every so often let out a cough. Now, it is doing it when I first take off and gets so bad that it will die if I give it too much gas. I usually have to let it warm up quite a bit before I can actually ride it without dying, but it will still cough unless I am riding the crap out of it (WOT). I head something about a rubber tube inside the tank that gets perforated and lets too much air in. What tube is it? Is it hard to change? It is expensive? Anyone got a part number? Thanks for any enlightenment anyone can give me.

If ur bike doesn't have a tuner, now would be a good time to invest in one...Dynojet Power Vision recommended (even if stock)
Before that, make sure ur Air filter elimemt is clean..if not, clean it well and in the process clean the IAC passage as well. Also check if the fuel line from the tank to injectors is not pinched.

Thanks all! I guess, somehow I had my tuner (FP3) in auto tune. I even did a firmware update last month and still didn't catch it, but yeah it was in auto tune trying to relearn everything. At any rate, I turned off the auto tune feature and reloaded the Bassani Radial Sweeper map profile. When I got home from work, I took it out and it ran 100% better. It still has a cough every once in awhile when tooling around a 30ish mph, but it has done that since I bought it and the dealership doesn't seem too anxious to find out what is causing it.
