2013 Harley 48 Build
I have been putting some work into my bike over the past few weeks getting ready for some better weather (in upstate NY) and figured this might be a cool way to document my progress!
Some of the recent work includes:
- Chopping the rear fender supports and installing and "Easyriders Short Bobbed Rear Fender"
- Making a custom fender tail light to fit the new rear fender (will post pics of the 10 hour project)
- Install "Legacy Lynx 3.8 gallon Cafe Tank" with Big Blue Pearl paint job and custom made Harley logo vinyl decal on the tank cut out
- Install "Joker Machine Finned Air Cleaner"
- Install "J&P Cycles Black Rubber Fork Boots" and "Roland Sands Design Smoothie Gloss Black 39mm Upper Fork Covers"
- Install Headlight grill on 7" headlamp (still unsure if i want it horizontal or vertical - pics to come)
- Replace all engine hardware with Black socket head bolts
- Relocate ignition coil and key with "DK Customs V-Coil Relocation Kit" (will post pics, not in main pic attached)
- Install Cafe handle bars
- Remove upper and lower belt guards
Upcoming Mods:
- Chin spoiler coming soon
- Hollow tip LED front and rear turn signals/running lights from "Purpose Built Moto"
Wishlist:
-180 rear tire on a custom 16 inch rear wheel to maintain same diameter front and rear tire
- Chrome Bassani Radial Sweepers with black exhaust wrap
- Wrinkle black rocker covers
- Flush Gas cap
- Any recommendations welcomed!
