I checked my oil yesterday hot and cold and noticed I had gone just below the lower mark on the dipstick. It was previously half way when checked before. I went and added some oil and noticed it took about 1 quart to get about 3/4 up bewteen the lower and uppper marks.
So in about a months time it appears I have lostapproximately 3/4 ofa quart. I have no leaks that I can find and I looked very hard. I have no oil marks and park in a concrete floor every day/night. I do not see any indication of burning oil that I can see (blue smoke like a car does). So my question since I am still somewhat new to Harleys is... Is this normal? It runs fine with no problems and was wondering if this is normal to lose some oil like that? Thanks
Could you explain a bit more in detail on this 128? I meamn i know what the crankcase is but is this something mormal or not or something I need to start investigating.Just not sure if some oil loss is expected like I had. Thanks
