Default Choosing rear fender close to wheel

Hi

I’m hoping you guys can help me with choosing a rear fender.

I think I eant it to be as close as possible to the wheel but I can’t find a good way to mount it. Any help?

then fender on the tyre is only laying there, is’t a ducktail little thing

the frame has been cut

The rest is still a work in progress

Its going to have to move with the suspension, so you will probably need to fabricate some sort of struts coming off the swingarm I would think.

Or fit suspension struts and/or go hardtail. Then you can go as close as you wish. Donor bike was a 2005 Sporty.
