Hour long? No bid deal - I hear you say. Normally an hour wouldn't be long, but I was supposed to just be gone for five minutes to pick up some smokes and I guess I went the long way round. Boy is my gf pissed at me!! Ooops![sm=badidea.gif]

Yeah, I learned just to tell 'em I'm going out for a ride and should be back in an hour or so. If it's any longer, I'll call.
Believe me, despite what your buddies may say, you're not whipped for calling the gf or ol and letting them know what's going on. Saves lots of headaches later.

Eventually she will come to except this behaviour. My wife knows once I throw a leg over, she will see me shortly after she hears the rumble of my pipes. I went out last night around 9:30 also to pick up some smokes. That would be a 5 minute trip for me. I ended up getting home a little after midnight.
On that particular trip though I didn't do much riding. I putt putted over to where the HD dealers convention is being held. Found some dealership folks to have a few brews with and some interesting conversation.

I live and work in portland, and I go homevia Mt. Hood, and thats about a 100 miles out of the way. lol. and of course you have to go for the 50 mile coke.
