I used mine also but I unscrewed the scraper pins, if you get tired of looking at RH passenger peg mount you can order a master cylinder bracket for a solo bike and swap to clean it up if have not already done so. Nice bike
Perhaps they where confused with a Iron or so, the pegs from mids wont work on the forwards. They will fit but the angle is wrong, the one you have are round and doesn't matter because there is no angle.
I think the reason they don't work according to the dealer is that, as you say MoneyFor, the angle is different and with it the angle of the scraper pins. They now no longer "indicate" the max lean angle as they should and hence cannot be considered safe. Best, niv
Thanks for posting a pic of the whole bike, it looks great! Some would say forward controls on the Roadster is heresy, but I say each to their own - I dig 'em!
Eh even tho it's meant to be more "sporty" or as my friend calls it the "harley sport bike", its still a sportster. I got it cause i like the better suspension, higher clearance and dual breaks, if it wasn't for that I would have probably went with a 48 that already has forward controls. As for the pegs maybe the iron are different idk but hey at least it saved me money, now my next thing to do is get an exhaust and intake, already got a swingarm bag.

I know what you mean. I like the forward controls of the 48, but would need to increase the tank size...with the tank off a Roadster - so why not get the Roadster, put forwards on it, and have the added benefits of dual front brakes and better suspension? So yeah, I see your point. Personally I'd love a Roadster with forwards, black drag bars, and a small flyscreen.

Exactly how I think except I put mini apes so I could sit up straight, bought the Roadster mainly for the tank size, brakes and suspension
Oh i've been looking for a more comfortable seat, saw that the mustang wide vintage had very good reviews comfort wise but i couldn't find any pictures of a roadster with it, i thought it wasn't very appealing but seeing it on yours its not bad at all. I ordered a le pera kickflip which looked pretty cool but wasn't comfortable for me so i returned it and ordered the mustang, has not arrived yet but your picture makes me more excited for it.
