mini tach kit problem
Hello! I have a '06 883C and i picked up a custom mini tach kit on feebay(#68950-99) it said it would fit '96 and later 883C & 1200C sportys...well things looked pretty good (alittle mod on bracket,) but then instructions say under riser cover, there should be a connector under it where i can plug in signal wire..., not there. does anyone know where i can get tach signal? i also have to pick up 12vdc and gnd. i hate to dig into wires under riser cover... i do have a service manuel with wiring diagrams. any advice would be appreciated!

You're likely going to have to splice the 3 wires into the existing speedo harness. The wiring diagram is in the service manual on page B-23 in my 04 manual.
