Get the pegs with the stirrups... you'll think you have floorboards. Keeps my feet from dropping off the pegs and keeps me off the exhaust pipe. They're really very comfortable to ride with and look a lot better than a Sportster with floorboards.

I forgot what we were talking about (due the picture above).

Oh yea, what aboutsmall floor boards for the passenger. I have noticed that right hand peg is very close to the pipe. A floor board could save the day.
Just be sure those mini-floorboards for the passenger will still fold up without jamming against the exhaust. I have a set I got for the wife, but can't leave them on there.

I find the floorboards too limiting in your riding positon . With pegs you can vary your riding positon , pays off on the long runs . But to each there own . good luck .

Totally agreed. I move my feet around a lot while riding. My last bike had big ol floor boards. It was comfortable, but sometimes I found myfeet hangingwith my toes (off the backside of them) just togive my legs something to do every once in a while.

You can't drive bare footed with pegs, only with floor boards. [sm=bounceybounce.gif]

I was told these would work as passenger floor boards but I would never mount them up front for myself:

I have Kury Mini Iso wings on my 1200 and love them. Gives me space to positiion my foot while riding and has never been a problem on sharp curves.

Sorry for the slow response... the thread moved down to the bottom so fast I didn't see your question.

But yes, I really appreciate them, especially on a long ride. I doubt these would work or be needed on mid-controls, but I sure like them on the forward controls. You can adjust the stirrup to any angle that fits you best. You can also slide your heel off the stirrup to move around on the peg if you want. I got my set off eBay for a pretty good price just to try them out and would never go back to just plain pegs. Of course, like most stuff, it's pretty much personal preference.
