If you do not have the Thunder Torque inserts in those Cobras you should. They restore the loss of low end power I lost when I first put them on. Plus it makes the sound just a little deeper still.
Well after going back and forth with too loud-too quiet-too loud, I decided I can tolerate too loud better than the low rpm air pump sound I get from even my highly modified stockers.
I know I know you told me so, a long time ago. After installing them tonight, I rode it from my shop to my garage (50 yds) and I was reminded of the deeper, throaty growl from the Cobras. So they are off CraigsList and on my bike.
GOOD GRIEF, if I had a mind I would make it up, LOL
This awesome! We all have been there with something similar. G.B.

Would a Fuelpak do it? I have one I just havent put on yet.
The stockers, even modified like the gronk mod does, are poor at performance. Any mods are pretty much sound only. This has been shown on the dyno.
In fact the modified loses a little low end.
Those dynos prove it but I sure didn't notice the loss with the modded stockers. I will say with my stockers, I do remember sometimes right off the bottom it seemed to want to pull my arms out. Will have to make it my goal to get that back, AND have it sound like I want.

The Khromewerks HP Plus slip ons have great low end and midrange torque and nice deep rumble sound. I get 77 ft.lbs. of torque @ 2300rpm. Just short of 90 ft.lbs. @ 4300rpm.
Here's a sound clip of my idle.
But we need to hear the rev bc you cant get down the road at idle.
I just happened to have the idle clip handy from another thread. The other clip with the 2 1/2" Khromewerks going down the road gives you a pretty good idea. My 3" is a little deeper and a little louder is all.
Ive heard the cobras in person too. They sound good. The Khromewerks sound better imo tho. A deeper tone to them.
I can't speak for the performance of the cobras. I know cobra power pro 2in1 performs extremely poor and is riddled with reversion. Especially at anything 4000rpm and below. Hammer has a dyno showing this.

Your bike surely can't be stock with those numbers, so it makes it a little hard to compare to mine. I do wonder how the 3" RPTs would fare on the dyno. Funds do nor permit me finding out though.
