What's the difference?
Between an pre-04 and '04 -13 exhaust, BESIDES the later model crossover? Asking specifically about 2-1 systems that do not require the under carb crossover pipe.
In other words could a rigid mount 2-1 be adapted to a rubber mount? Do the pipes line up at the heads?

pipes line up fine at the heads. Things Ive encountered are rear mounting bracket, clearance with the master cylinder and 02 bungs for efi. Ive dealt with all of the above mentioned without a lot of issues. Might be more, idk, if youre handy you can make about anything work 86-19

Ok bungs I can weld on, and mount would not interfere with MC on mine since its under the bike. Mount I would have to fashion anyway, unless I bought a set new. Have seen some steal deals on 2-1 for older bikes.
