Got her !
picked her up today and drove around 221 kms. The bike just blew my mind and initially I felt overwhelmed. The familiarization took some 50 odd kms. The brakes are quite good in my opinion and the suspension does need a quick upgrade. I had it bottom out twice. The engine heat kept my legs quiet toasty in this cold weather and the warm weather performance is under advisement.
All in all a nice bike with tons of torque and it made me grin. The rumble of this v-twin leaves you feeling great. Thanks to all of you for the welcome and wealth of knowledge. The stealership experience was underwhelming as far as the tech knowledge goes. I will be flipping the cover Lemmy mentioned on Revzilla.
will post pics shortly

the bike is an absolute hoot to drive. I may get a riser and forward controls down the lane. The low and mid end dollops of torque make the fifth cog suited for the expressway mainly. I took off gingerly and got into some sort of stride by 300 odd kms. I made sure to vary the rpm and avoid 3000k rpm overshoot. The bike is low for some road conditions but mainly took on everything with confidence inspiring equanimity. The scorchers did not appreciate gravel and I found no cause to disagree with them. The only wot run (below 3500 rpm) I made had me at 120 kmph in short order. I found that the engine dislikes being below 2700 rpm in the top two cogs. The v twin vibes had me grinning like a nut and I would have exceeded my FDA recommendation in bugs but for my lid. All stops were marked by a crowd of admirers asking the age old questions- how much and how many mpg?
I would whole heartedly recommend this bike for both guys and gals- I may have mellowed with age but am still an old school 6ft 3 MCP and found not an iota of girlishness in this bike (no disrespect intended to ladies) and if any gal drives these things then more power to her /them.
I wonder if I had out of sheer bravado got a litre class naked - not a great idea for any one not trained to handle these machines. I have driven 300- 500 cc bikes a lot so the transition was fast though initially I did feel overwhelmed.
