The rocker boxes aren't too bad once you have the tank and seat off and the coil out of the way. I replaced my oil pump drive gear with a bronze one from Hammer while I was in there. I also removed the push rod tubes and the lifters. It's also important to keep everything the same going back in as it was coming out - same lifters in same holes, pushrods, etc. Of course
you'll need new gaskets and o-rings. I had some trouble getting the cam cover back on (after aligning all the cams). It was just a matter of patience and getting all the cams and dowels
to line up, and the gasket in place at the same time.
