2005 1200Custom

So i picked this up pretty recently. Speedometer doesnt light up, no needle sweep, and no mileage. Neutral Hi/Lo and oil indicators on lower bar all work, just not speedo. Checked all fuses. Good. Check harness under tank, power to ignition/batt/instr/ all good, ground good. Check wires at back of speedo. The same. Pins and connectors clean and straight.

Also. The turn signals stay solid, no flashers or any function from turn signal switches. Brake light works, headlight works, highbeam works. Bike runs and drives fine. Just no Speedo backlight, mileage shown, or any movement at all.

Previous owner said it needed a TSM, that I can understand for flashers not working possibley, but not powering on the speedo.

Anyone seen this before? Only odd things I see are a 25a fuse in the battery location instead of a 15, and a seperate ground wire ran(jumpered) into the TSM connector to the battery negative.
