Dead Speedo and Engine Light on
2006 XL1200C... getting engine light and turn signal canx won't work (automatically). Speedo is dead and odo is off. Changed speed sensor and tested voltage regulator, new battery - no go, stumped.
Any suggestions?

I take it that with the speedo dead you can get an error code? I think dealer can retreve codes without a speedo but I'm not sure on that.
Have you checked all fuses and relays for corrosion? Done anything lately that might have pinched a wire? corrosion in a wiring harness connector?
