Default Speedometer acting weird

Posted this on Dyna Forum no takers so thought I would try here....sorry for double post Problem...Bike gets up to 40mph,engine light goes on,at 55mph speed-o cuts out drops to 0mph,engine light still on.Lower speed to under 40mph speed-o acts normal engine light goes out.Have replaced sensor to tranny,still doing same thing,replaced speed-o,same,replaced turn signal module,same.No wires that I can see are corrupted.Don't have a clue...????My dealer loaned me the replaced speed-o,returned sensor and module for store credit....good people to deal with.Anyone else had to deal with this anomaly with the speed-o?????

Yeah, it was a short in the wiring in the backbone. Mouse damage. Started as the left directional bulb blew out then after replacing it the left front turning lamp would not work. This lasted about a month or so, then the tach and spedo started acting up. Sometimes at a stop others while cruising. Corrected the wring and no poroblems since.
