The rebuild continues...
So far I have the new bars, mirrors, steering stem, and brake line installed. Only problem I've run into so far is, whoever tapped the hole in the bottom of the steering stem for the brake line p-clamp did a shitty job. Had to run out and buy a 1/4-20 tap and chase the treads.
My son will get here around noon and we'll finish installing the remaining parts, rim, fender, brake caliper, and bleed the front brake and the bike will be rideable. Still have a few small parts coming from New Castle to 'finish' everything up.

Was hoping to get the bike out and ride it some to check everything out, doesn't look like Mother Nature is going to cooperate...

Back together and on two wheels again, been on the lift since late April. Still has the old tank and fender on it, as soon as we are sure everything is kosher we'll swap them out. As soon as my son get's the new shields for the Short Shots, we'll be putting them back on along with the Arlen Ness air cleaner. Man, is V&H REALLY proud of those heat shields...
